Pardis Shelter was founded by Ms. Jila Pourirani after a massive cull that nearly 400 dogs were shot dead in Tabriz.   Ms. Pourirani devoted her life and turned in her lifesavings to create a safe haven for animals that have nowhere to go. They have one car that is their ambulance and it rescues animals that are in the worst shape; e.g. hit by cars, broken bones, starving and so on.   They rescue and heal, wash, feed, care and as much as they can afford spay and neuter them.   Thanks to endless efforts of Ms. Pourirani, Pardis now has a clinic, a new large facility with rooms for handicapped dogs, Moms and puppies, and plenty of space for healthy dogs and cats to roam around.  Thanks to infinite love and compassion of Ms. Pourirani, there are now over 2000 dogs and cats who reside in this amazing place.
